This was extracted from a Facebook post this morning and is very disturbing. We haven't seen anything in the local mainstream media but that's never surprising. The victim was a Good Hope Country Day student coming home from a bonfire at Chenay Bay. Read on and beware:
I wanted to let you know we found out yesterday after the race that our friends daughter was rear ended Saturday night and pulled out of her car and put into a truck and raped. Her friend that was in the car ran and was able to get away. The truck is a white truck extended cab. If you see a truck with any front end damage please take a photo, get license plate and call 911.
Its been a really emotional day. Couldn't sleep at all last night. My heart is breaking for the young girl. I pray they find these guys and justice is served.
An agent friend of mine said a similar incident was reported in the sunny isle area. So please be very careful.
They took a photo of her ID so they know where she lives and said if she said anything they would kill her entire family. So her and her sister and mom are leaving island White truck extended cab is all info that I have. Happened either in the Tide Village area or Divi area and they dropped her off at Hovensa.
The Police say this also happened near the Sunny Island area….A few days earlier

I hope they catch these guys and cut their balls off. How horrible for the victim and her family! And how scary for the rest of us that these skunts are on the loose.

I will be amazed if they find the rapists. There are probably close relatives involved. This, plus the hospital's unfixable filth, incompetence, and hostility problems, are making more of us think of leaving. There's only so much "But There's The Beach" bullshit you can eat before you need civilization again.
I would strongly suggest to people thinking of moving here that they PMV somewhere, anywhere else. I am done defending this place.

Are you suggesting that these kind of terrible crimes only take place here? There are far worse off regions in the Caribbean than the USVI.
Far worse...
And there are county and state sized governments up in the US in far worse economic condition than the Virgin Islands.
This is a terrible crime, it's a highly publicized crime, these animals will be apprehended, justice will be served.

Well let's hope the police got the DNA kit so if they manage to find some suspects they can either prosecute or rule them out. How many registered white extended cab trunks can there be on the island to go look for?

i didnt find filth, incompetence or hostility when i was in the hospital last year.
now , of course there is an infrastructure problem at the hospital that they need to fix.
luckily they have a place for emergencies to go -the cardiac center

Either one of the south shore beaches near HaPenny, or Campo Rico, or off Scenic Road somewhere. Hopefully VIPD are searching those favorite spots.

Unless they stole it, it may not be burned out.
These miscreants are vile and vicious.
I hope they'll be apprehended, quickly because if not, they'll think it fine to continue with this as they've got nothing to lose.
Encourage your women, young or old, to drive with doors locked, windows rolled up, wasp spray in vehicle, air horn, and never get out of the car.
Flare guns are legal and can be lethal.
Just make sure it don't bounce back into the car.
Honestly, I'd take a very sharp machete, chop everything up that was physically possible and drag the remains out for fish food.
They deserve no less.
That young woman will be forever impacted by this horrific event as will her family. The f..king nerve to take her ID and threaten her family after assaulting her is absolutely reprehensible and deserves no mercy for these things that cannot even be equated to animals.
