Where is Blues Back Yard?
Where is Blues Back Yard?
At La Grande Princess... A few seconds west of Tire Express, and across from the vet clinic...
you really must try it
I'll be there on a cruise in Sep, so I'll try to get there then. I'd love to try the black eye pea salad. Do they have any fish options? Would prefer something lite since I'll be stuffing myself on the cruise. 🙂
I would kill for some chicken shack here on STT :/
Delicious ORGANIC lunch and a drink at "Stand-Up" also called "UCA" across from the pier in Frederiksted. Ask for the "special". On Wednesday they have the BEST soup. The spicy popcorn is great also ($3).
I've never eaten there don exodus, but I agree... Good food isn't as easy to come by on STT, IMO. I remember STX food from our PMV was all soooo good. I don't think we had a bad meal. Went to northside bistro last week and was TOTALLY dissapointed, but our server was fantastic.
Usually good meals @NSB.
You should have said something to owner.
I love their Chocolate Bomb dessert.
I been to Blue Orchid twice and been expensively dissappointed both times.
Well it wasn't that it was horrible, just wasn't that great. I paid $9 for "bruschetta" it was two 3inch pieces of some no flavor bread bread with a SLICE of roma tomato and cheddar cheese melted on top????? The rest of the meal wasn't BAD, but when I pay $100 for dinner I want something I cant make myself. All of these tasted about the same or a bit worse than if I would have made them. I ordered med-rare prime rib and I am glad I can handle rare, it was pretty moo-ing. Good flavor thou. That bruschetta was an insult to the restaurant and kinda started off the dinner on a sour note. I did have an entire bottle of some 1999 German Riesling that helped improve my mood throughout the dinner. We almost went to Thirteen.... should have lol.
The thing I dislike about 13 is that horrid interior paint job.I seriously find it claustrophobic.
Think their prices are over the top, too.
It is too bad that restaurants don't get that we want and deserve consistency of good quality for food, service for what we must pay for their extremely high prices for dining out and receive mediocrity in return.
Summer is when restaurants must depend on local clientele to survive.
Just like you, not anxious to return somewhere to waste money on anything I can make better when I happen to be a excellent cook.
