I'd kill for some of that "cold"

I'm suffering from "island time" right now I think,,, waiting for the start date on my job (it's 8* out side right now, I'm SO READY to be done with this frozen wasteland)

Wunderground has the low as 72 for tonight and 70 for the low the rest of the week.
The weather channel calls for 48 but it has been wrong on the lows lately.
The lowest temp on record for today was 64 degrees back in 1964. I am sure we won't beat that by sixteen degrees tonight.

I don't know where that cold you're speaking of is located but it's not at my house.
Had to turn the fan on last night and am worrying about a winter "heat wave."
Very still with no breeze here on North side - STT a leaf moving!
64 degrees? I wish!

Weatherunderground is more accurate temperature wise. The Weather Channel takes their info from Puerto Rico. That low is probably from the Central Cordillera Mountains in PR.

I think it's PERFECT! Loving the weather! Went snorkling today over by the airport and laid on the beach with the Iggys. Water was a tad chilly but that will never stop me, hell I've snorkled no wetsuit in Catalina LOL!

My boyfriend is making enemy's of his family, sending picture messages of the sunny days and temps here to his family in Minneapolis... Where its NEGATIVE 5!! Not a chance you'd get me in that. Did anyone see the CBS evening news last night with that guy from MN with the Hannibal Lector facemask on?? Pretty creepy.

Well we're doing a fish fry tonight, have a good night islanders.

48 degrees?? get serious - it will never approach that kind of low temps and whatever weather station you are listening to has absolutely no clue about the Virgin Islands.

The minimum overnight temp outside at my house (Belvedere area) was 73 degrees at 5:26 this morning, which felt pretty chilly but far from a record low. Its now a balmy 74 now with the sun up.

I thought it was pretty warm last night and the night before for Mid Jan.
Miss those stiff breezes!

Woke up at 2AM to turn the bedroom's ceiling fan on, then of course WAPA went out, again, for the 4th time in a week.
Glad I just put all new batteries in my battery operated lights and fans.

Anyone know what's up with WAPA?
The first outage had to do with a transformer or line in our particular neighborhood that was down but the last 3 have been island wide.
