Getting a job
Hello. I am looking at moving to St. Thomas and have been scouring the web looking for employment oppurtunities. Can anyone recommed a good spot for me to check out? Maybe a local newspaper's website, or something of the sort?
Thank you in advance.
Hey Islander,
out of couriousity....where do you go to check those reference numbers for that cable channel that just lists jobs all day. Is it on a website or do you have to call?
I have always been curious about it. You know channel ten....Job tv.
Ohhh, I would definitely be willing to call a number also.
I've found a few places already with some listings, just trying to cover all my bases.
Thanks again!
Cole,
The Daily News is partially online (the whole paper is not, but some articles, the headlines usually and some of the classifieds) that site is www.virginislandsdailynews.com
A few of the big sites for jobs across the USA sometimes list the USVI - I have seen a couple listings there.
The university has their openings listed on their site... if you go to employment under moving guide on this site the links are there for that and for nursing at the hospital.
The tv show Chris mentioned I believe is done by the Labor Dept. I just took a look on the TV to see... however they are airing graduations right now... will check again later to see if I can confirm that it is the Labor Dept.

Thank you Islander.
It was just out of curiousity but I looked and looked and couldnt find any way of ever looking up the jobs or calling anyone if you did find something.
