I am starting this thread after reading on Facebook that the generator was stolen from Progressive Vet Clinic! WTF????
So...thought folks could share ideas on the best way to prevent theft of generators.
I think it would be great if there were some kind of alarm that could be deactivated by the owner when the generator needs to be serviced and then activated when folks are sleeping or away. Super loud, would scare the sh!t out of the thieves.
I also found some great ideas on other forums online.

I've got an old ED209 watching over mine.
Sure... it was built back in the eighties, had a few glitches and killed Dick Jones the number 2 guy over at OCP, but if Robocop hadn't taken out the prototype, there would be one on every street corner today and generator theft would be non-existent.

Big ass dogs...
People won't even get out of their cars near my house, much less come trying to take things..
I have 2 rots, 1 dobi and 2 south african boerboel's... that's about 485lbs of dog insurance.
