$3.97 a gallon here on St Croix

Is this the calm before the storm ----Hovensa has enough regular gas in storage until October 31, 2013,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and still no agreement.

I told from gas station owners to get fuel from Puerto Rico they need to give two week notice-----and you can add about a dollar to the cost of fuel here on St Croix, and take it to the bank, our fuel cost will be higher than St Thomas if we have to get fuel from Puerto Rico and or other places(3 weeks ago St Thomas prices were $4.90 a gallon, when St Croix prices were $4.19)

$4.48 per gallon for regular on STT.
It's been running between $4.58 - $4.48 over last several months from the 2 gas stations by the Sugar Estate Post Office.
Prices from other stations are higher..

Wow...you mean our gas prices will finally be similar to what most of the rest of the world is paying? Who would have thought that could ever happen?

Here in Ohio right now is as low as $3.08... Cars in the VIs will not have that many issues if action is taken but, on the other hand, since I fly often to STX, airplanes will have major issues at the Rohlsen both with the inventory and the PRICE...

the tax structure in California is insane... that's why it's 4.76.... of course that state needs money badly so they are getting it where they can...

I've heard the airport has a provision in place. But I can't remember what it is right now, ha ha! Anyone know? Other than raising fares, which they seriously did at the end of the last season. It is dirt cheap to fly to MIA right now though.

That is not what Bohlke reported... Unless they came up with something recently... Here is the article...

Back when Hovensa was online the prices were equal to or less than the USA average... Those days are gone with the closure... We'll see what happens "3 minutes to midnight" and the government pulls a miracle with a temporary agreement like they had a few months ago...

Yanno, whenever I try to open any pages from the Source, my anti-virus blocks it as a "malicious site." Weird.

Disregard the "malicious site" message... It happened to several here, including this website, a little while ago...
