Look in the free Island Trader or the local Daiiy News (both online) for notices of yard or house sales. Fortess Storage (behind the Daily News building, vicinity of the STT hospital and main Sugar Estate Post Office also frequently advertises sales. Great deals can be had!

Are you looking for new or used furniture?

If new, Mango Tango Art Gallery just got a shipment of furniture in from the Whim Museum on St. Croix. These pieces are high-quality teak reproductions of traditional West Indian furniture and they are WONDERFUL. An additional benefit of purchasing these pieces is that a portion of the proceeds go to support the museum. The furniture itself is reasonably priced IMHO for something of that quality level. Also Jane Coombs, the gallery owner and her husband Smokey, are a delight.

Living Spaces at Fort Mylner is another nice furniture store, with lots of interesting furniture and accessories. Also, check out Fortress Storage behind the hospital. There are two places within the facility that sell furniture: Quinn House Galleries and Island Empire. Both places merit a visit if you are looking for new, island-style furniture.
