Frenchman's Reef restoration on hold
This is not good for St Thomas: https://stthomassource.com/content/2020/05/13/covid-delays-frenchmans-reef-pushes-back-reopening/
I read an article today that is saying the Hertz car rental may declare bankruptcy as early as May 22nd. They apparently have a $400M payment due on some loans that is in danger of being in default. The article was actually focused on the impact of this on the used car market, it stated that Hertz has slightly more than 500,000 vehicles that if there were to suddenly go in the used market the effect would be bad for the auto market. Good for prices but the unintended consequences would be bad for the market.

Another sign of the times.
Things are going to get pretty lean in the VI for the next few years.
Maybe people will start cruising again (lol).
The cure is worse than the disease.....
