If you are handy, you can have our old washing machine for free. We are getting a signal that it needs a new motor or motor controller. I expect that will be cheaper than buying a new machine, but we just don't want to mess around with trying to get a repairman. It is a front loading 3 year old GE washer. We are located on St. Thomas.
Incidentally, I tried to post this on St Thomas Freecycle but nothing has posted there in over a month. Does anybody know what's going on with Freecycle?

I think that most freecycle groups work as a mailing list, so even if there is no recent activity, if you post something, every subscriber will get it. They don't have to visit the site to see if anything new has posted.
