Just want to say thank you to everyone for their kind words of wisdom and patient advice as to finding an apartment. I was starting to get extremely stressed, but the encouragement from this board helped a lot. Found an apartment in the Trader that ended up being perfect. I also made an appointment to ship my car based upon advice received from this board. Thanks again! My flight leaves Orlando Sept 30th at 12:30pm. I can't wait to start this adventure!

Congratulations on the apartment, Jen! I know the feeling, as I too found a place this week...it IS exciting, isn't it?! As for the flight, Pink and I will be (hopefully) collecting our luggage from baggage claim by the time you leave Orlando, as we're flying directly from NY early that morning. But have a safe flight, and lots of luck with your new adventure!
Marty - shame on you!!!!!! You don't have our flight # tattooed on your forehead yet?

PinkCoconut and AnnNYPisces found a place at the end of Ross Rd., by Bluebeard's Beach Club/Limetree Beach, on the South side of STT.
(Crikey! I had to edit this darn thing 4 freaking times just to get my spelling and grammar right! Sheesh! I'm logging off before I make any other stupid mitakes!)

It's in Solberg I suppose— Scott Free Road. I am not on island right now, but my roommate sent me pics. It has an amazing view and perfect for what we are looking for.

GEEZZZZZZZZZZ!! Could you have been any more specific about our location!!?? Glad we have a gated entrance!! LOL!! And I agree with Ann, you should KNOW our flight schedule by now! Between you and Sean I hope at least one of you remembers to pick us up!

I actually answered when I, at first, thought the question was being asked of you, then I edited to fix it when I realized it wasn't, then I edited to fix all of my errors, and now I see that I mis-spelled the word "mistakes"! Sheesh! Maybe I should just lurk for a while, huh?

Scott Free road is scary! I got into an accident on it within a few weeks of living here. It does offer some great views but I don't really look forward to driving that road even though it is a great shortcut. Good luck to evderyone moving down, I have been here about 2 1/2 months and having a blast. Everything has gone much smoother than expected. I am pretty much settled in and have been feelin the vibes ya know. I flew over to Anguilla this past weekend and while it is a beautiful island with very nice people- there's no mountians, so I think we have it pretty good here on STT.

Thanks for the link! I'm looking at flights on November 2 . . . I'm a little wigged. I got some last minute leads for jobs/living on St. Croix. I may be going there, instead of St. John. Have to make a decision ASAP. I've been planning for St. John for months, but had no leads. Still, changing islands at this late date is a little scary!
