For You Book Lovers
This sounds like a GREAT deal. Not sure if VI is included yet. Forgot to check that part.

I get free books from here but quite frankly the selections aren't what I would normally browse and buy from a real bookstore. Basically just filler stuff and older books that I already own. Don't understand why ebooks are so expensive for the really good ,newer books. There's another site I use for books as well that offers free books but same sort of stuff and they too send a daily list.
I still really miss dockside. Especially since there are no other places to purchase real books on island. Even the pitiful selections that were available at Kmart & pueblo are no longer available.
It sucks.
I know the library has some good offerings but I like keeping my books and reading at my leisure without worrying about returning a book or paying late fees if I have had too busy a week to get my reading done, plus driving to other side of island to do so. I did for awhile but it got old, fast.
I signed up so I can see what they recommend. I don't read that much so maybe this will encourage me to read more. I used to get a really good remainder book catalog. Wonder if there's something similar still around...
book gorilla, daily cheap reads and i think book bub offer free and cheap books, a lot of times from name brand authors
Manor School closed and donated its library to the Women's Coalition Closet to Closet thrift store on STX --- tons of children's books for 25 cents each!!!!
queen louise home for the children could have used some donations too.
if any of you have child appropriate books, clothing, toys or vhs tapes-think of them
