Flashig Head lights
I picked up my car today, drove back and forth several times (long story), got to DMV at 2 and was out by 3. But, because I didn't have a screw driver with me I wasn't able to change out my tags before I left DMV. To all who flashed their lights at me as I was driving home (with Vermont tags still on) thank you for recognizing me as a newbie or that there was a policeman ahead-whichever. I made it back OK and without any issues. Tomorrow I'll deal with changing out the tags. Thank you all. VT
People flashing lights here usually means what two fast horn blast mean: Go ahead, your turn, Hi, See Ya, etc...
Wow.... A car on STX with Vermont plates (sigh....).....
I would have loved to seen that!!
Also, you did quite well getting thru DMV in an hour!!
glad your car arrived vt. now with the new tags you are officially here.
(we still have our VT. tags)
VT -- Welcome, and well done! To those who doubt that it can be done, I got out of BMV in under an hour when I registered both my cars for the first time 4 1/2 years ago.
We do have only one request: please re-adjust your headlights so they aren't shining in the eyes of on-coming cars. Coming from VT, your headlights are aimed to the right, "off the road." Unfortunately, now they're shining right into the cars in the other lane. Thanks.

Last week I saw a car with Alaska plates (front & rear) at Ziggy's in Solitude, STX.
How do i adjust the lamps? Thought they went straight ahead...VT
Pop the hood and look for adjusting screws. On my car, on each headlight, one screw adjusts up/down, and another adjusts left/right.
OK. Thanks. VT
I have registered two cars and the fastest I got out of there was 2 1/2 hours and that was the second time.
Ric was there last week - 45 minutes from drive in to drive out.
