Hi Everyone-

I fly into San Juan, PR on the ninth of march and I need to get to st. thomas. Hopefully w/o flying. Is there a ferry or some sort of sea transportation that I could take that would be less than a couple hundred bucks.
I leave soon, so a quick response would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nate of MT

Hello Nate,

Here is the PR - STT ferry info:

Transportation Services operate a ferry between Cruz Bay, St. John; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The trip takes two hours each way. Tickets are $60 one way and $100 round trip. The ferry leaves twice a month on Friday in the mid-afternoon. It returns on Sunday. Advance purchase is required. It is suggested you call (340)776-6282 for more details and specific dates and times.

It doesn't run on Tuesdays so you would be paying for a hotel for 3 nights in PR... which may be the cost or more of a commuter flight over to St. Thomas.

You should be able to fly from PR to STT for less than $100.00
