Feedback on Ulo Udo as Longterm Rental?
Evening,
I am looking into longterm rentals and am curious if anyone has stayed in Ulo Udo?
http://www.coldwellbankervi.com/vacationrentals/listing-ulo-udo-180.html
It looks like the stuff of dreams, but with kids I was wondering about safety (it mentions seclusion which isn't necessarily a positive thing) and access to stores and the like.
Any info about this place or suggestions about safe 3 bedroom places would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Don't know the actual house, but anything that overlooks Salt River isn't really "remote". And the booking agent is a friend of ours; I can assure you that she is a great person to work with. Good luck.
Ulo Udo appears to be listed as a weekly vacation rental, not a longterm rental. I think "Rent (monthly): $3,200" is a mistake, as that is also the approximate weekly rental rate shown further down.
Might want to try this question on the vacation forum, might be more tourists there and maybe one of them as tried it.
From the website:
Additional Information: HIGH SEASON $2,500/wk for 1-2 $3,000/wk for 3-4 $3,500/wk for 5-6 LOW SEASON $2,000/wk for 1-2 $2,500/wk for 3-4 $3,000/wk for 5-6 Christmas / New Years: $5000 $500 refundable damage deposit Please add 8% Hotel Tax Monthly ong term - $3400 month plus utilities (pool and lawn care included) Small pet may be allowed.
Does seem like they do long term--perhaps the current tenants negotiated down and got 3200. It does say on the website that it is rented already.
Thanks all. I am contacting Linda to see if it is available and other rental possibilities. I will check out the other forums as well. 🙂
