29 people have been indicted in St. Croix for possession of contraband at Golden Grove.
Ironically a few of those folks are lifers...

two indictments are still sealed, so i suspect so. i think its a big publicity stunt, someone serving life, can't do more than that.

Serving a life sentence doesn't always mean life sentence.

Totally correct Sky. Could mean as little as 15 years, but the person would have to be paroled and the parole package would have whatever infractions he has.
I just think instead of the federales spending north of $10k per case, that money could be spent to prevent the contraband from getting in and to probably even get the mosquitos and other vermins exterminated from the place.
