Energy Conservation On STX!!!!
East Ender thx.. I understand what your saying far as recycling goes in vi's...That's ashame?
Jim I couldn't agree with you more..what I was going to do is pour a bond beam along the final course tying it in with steel leaving anchor bolts vertical for tie ins.. to anchor the roof down. I've seen a few designs that are out there... I'm communicating with a few in tropical regions who are currently living in these and trying to educate myself in all aspects before I choose what style of construction? Many of these homes have been around for well over 2 decades and have been more resilient to fires, hurricanes and earthquakes. adaptable-"tune able " to any climate. And being its solar passive can work in any environment. Also far as strenght goes..Earthships have been through earthquakes. Rammed earth encased in steel belted rubber - essentially indestructible. Rammed earth and rubber does not have cracking characteristics as some rigid materials. more absorbing or forgiving to energies given from earthquakes. So any vibrations would transfer through. Also think about the foot print-over 35"on the exterior walls. this alone keeps it sturdy as hell.
Lizard happy holidays to you also...Thx 🙂
"You arm will feel the cool energy from space..."
Sorry to be a stickler, but coolness is an absence of heat (and heat is energy). There's no such thing as "cool energy"...
Let
Let,
Correct! ABSOLUTELY
As heat is an absence of cool....
Cool"energy can be stored..ex.a basic ice cube? We use this to better our lives right? How is keeping your environment "key word" comfortable any different? Cooling a home naturally saves "$-energy-$" this is all I was trying to show? Convective cooling is simply amazing....using " energy" from the sun to cool your home.
This one should tilt alot of heads sideways!!! 🙂
