Hi,
I don't know if anyone has any advice for this (and I am sure people are asking all the time), but I will be graduating in May with an MBA and I also have a degree in statistics. As annual visitors to St. John, we have developed an intense desire to move to the islands. The problem, of course, is employment. Does anyone know of any opportunities that I could pursue with my education? I really am interested in all aspects of business, particularly finance and marketing. We are open to any of the islands and would just love to make the move. We will be visiting again over Thanksgiving, any ideas where I should start?

I would really appreciate any advice anyone has. Thanks!

Meigan: I would start my search with companies which are being brought to the Virgin Islands through the Economic Development Authority. Many of these companies are in financial services and require employees with skills in these areas. I believe that they have to hire bona fide resdents, but do not know how long you must be one. You would probably find more info in your MBA program.

Thank you East Ender! I will try and look into the Economic Development Authority. I am hoping to be able to make some real progress when we visit in November. If anyone else has any ideas/suggestions, your advice is greatly appreciated!
