Hello,
I am looking to move to the islands and perhaps operate a sail boat charther business. My main line of employment is as a marketing and comuunications executive and an editorial photographer.
Are jobs in Marketing available in the islands?

Thad: I hope you will look at the thread below called "Moving" by Peter Hunsaker. He has the same idea re: a charter boat business. I guess you would be able to use your marketing skills with your charter boat, wouldn't you? 😉

You might order a Settlers Handbook to help you learn about living/moving to the USVI. http://www.vitraders.com has the books. For marketing (and photography) - you could try the Daily News (St. Thomas Newspaper) http://www.virginislandsdailynews.com or one of the TV or Radio Stations. There are advertising agencies here also - try visiting the Yellow Pages and searching for companies, you can call and inquire about what they do and job openings?? Yellow Pages - http://www.viphonebook.com The larger hotels usually have a person in charge of PR and marketing.
