Good Day All:
Will shortly be concluding a condo purchase in STT. Very excited and enjoying all of the educational messages on the board re:life on STT and the USVI in general. A question about fax, DSL and internet access. I will need to have both fax and internet hookup in condo and wanted to know if anyone has suggestions about or experience with local providers?
Any recommedations or comments would be greatly appreciated. Should it be one phone line or two? Etc.? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Both the companies that offer DLS are ok compared to states side DSL service. It really just depends on what service is available in your area. The two companies are Choice Communication and VIpowernet. Choice offers wireless DSL and VIpowernet offers wired DSL.
It really depends on how the condo is wired. If it is Standard RJ 11 you would need only one phone line to have a fax and wired DSL. If it is standard RJ 11 and you want a phone also you will need two lines. Check with your condo to see how it is wired.
