I used Chandra until we put our Standard Poodle down in February. Got bawled out by Gallows Bay grooming because my dog got wet in the rain before he had to be at her shop at 6:30 in the morning so she could get off by 11:30 or so everyday. I woke up that morning at 4 and was racing all the way until my appointment time and because he needed to pee in the rain she reamed me a good one. GBG also will not call you when your pet is ready if you have a stateside phone. She runs a tight ship and will not tolerate working past noon, so her grooming starts early every day. I never knew when to pick him up and afraid to call and get her attitude.
While she did a great job, getting her attitude when late past 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. Was something after a year I decided she wasn't the only one on island and started taking mine to Chandra. My dog loved his grooming appointments in the states and we referred to them as his monthly spa visit. He and I did much better when we went to Chandra!

We've known both ladies and gone to both for years. Both do an excellent job and care about your pets.

The only advantage of Ler at Gallows Bay Grooming is knowing exactly when our dog could be picked up. Yes, we had to get them there by 8 am but that meant earlier coffee too!!
