Does ANYONE know re: HipCrip??????

Hi Dan,

The last time I saw Hip Crip was at the get together at Cramer Park. Her father was on Island and strangely enough we flew back to the states on the same flights! Talking to him I know that he is coming back to STX for the holidays but I have no way to contact him or them. If, by any chance you find any information on how they are doing, or even when her dad in coming down, please let me know! Maybe her dad and I could hook up on the plane ride back to STX - and maybe (this time stay - lol).

If she hasn't re-surfaced by the time I am back on-island, I'll run by her house to say Hello. Hopefully she just has a computer issue and not something more serious!

Isn't there someone else on STX who can stop by her house and get the scoop? Dan, maybe Alex can tell you Hip Crip's physical location via PM?

I think it behooves longtime resident posters to work on checking up on her.

Thanks STT/Alexandra. I have no idea where she lives, or even her real name, so we were not on that level of friendship. We did PM each other often and she was going to come to the plant sale I had, and never showed. It was then that I noticed that she was not posting. After a few more weeks I really got concerned as she was such a support to so many people.

I do know that she is married, but I don't know if her husband is a poster as well, or if he has posted recently.

I hope that someone can check up in some way. I know she had lots of challenges that she met with a smile.

I have her full name...I can give directions...but jnrhomes knows where she lives and how to get in touch with her and her husband, Kelly. Please PM me if you are a regular on this board that has been around awhile and can check on HC and I will give you directions.

After reading this post, I spoke with her husband last week. All is well, she is just busy with other things and hasn't been online for a while. Not to worry folks... :-]

I don't know any of you yet but it's great to see how much you care and look out for each other. That should make HipCrip feel valued, too. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you this winter!

Whew! I never knew you could come to care for someone so much through a posting board. I am so relieved that all is well, and probably the busy is even better! If you see this HC, at some time could you drop me a PM? I miss you, your humor and your wisdom.
