Hey all! I'm curious to know if there are jobs for commercial divers there. I have searched and searched and searched and can't seem to find anything. Any type would be fine. Whether it's welding or ship repair/maintence. Thanks!

I know there is a dive company that does work for Hovensa on a regular basis, I don't know what they are named though.

I had a friend who would scrub the bottoms of boats while using SCUBA, on STT. I suppose you could poke around the various marinas and find people willing to pay you to scrub...
I would give you the name of this guy, but I do not have anything to do with him since he screwed over a good friend of mine.

Cruzan Divers is a commercial dive operation on St Croix and is a 1-2 man operation. Sometimes local, very experienced dive instructors contract out with them for some jobs. To get into it, it is very much a "who you know" sort of situation on St Croix. No clue what the deal is with commercial diving on stt.
