I can call DISH if nobody here has the answer but I was a bit annoyed last week when a couple of the NBC series I regularly record to DVD for later watching were off by an hour (shown an hour earlier than scheduled) so I missed them. Sometimes they can be off because of an overtime sports event or a special news interruption but that puts them on later, not earlier. Anybody know?

Happened to me, too. Probably has to do with the recent time change that just occurred and did not get accounted for in the programming/guide scheduling. Hopefully, it's been corrected already as most of programs I record seemed to be back on the correct schedule.

Good thought - only NBC was affected - all recordings on other channels were just fine.

I use TiVo, and subscribe to Innovative Cable. Has been happening to me also. Only NBC, and only since the time change. As of last night, it had not been fixed.

You're quite right. NBC has not corrected this as a couple of programs I taped yesterday were NOT the ones they were supposed to be.

Same here. Guess I'll call DISH today and see if they can get in touch with whoever provides the feed from PR to get off the pot!!! GRRR!

We've had several calls about this issue. I brought it to the attention of our regional head honcho. He will escalate it as needed. NBC is a STT station. That's why it's affecting Innovative customers also.
In the mean time, and I know this is a hassle, but, If you have a favorite show on NBC I suggest recording the show before and after. Then you should capture it.
Seems to have coincided with daylight savings time change.

I'll see how long this takes to fix. Dish can't even provide all of the channels that I subscribe to, and
after a YEAR has not solved the problem yet. I have to request a credit every month for the channels I'm missing.
As soon as I can find a Direct TV agent I'm planning to switch.

This is an NBC St Thomas issue. Not Dish. Innovative is having the same problem according to a post above.
Call me about the missing channels. I should be able to help you, or explain what's going on. Missing from the guide? Or signal related?

Sorry, Alan. We've spoken about the problem before. You installed my system and Dish still can't provide all of the channels on the Phillipine package, even though they are on the same satellite and transponder. Now we only get 2 of the package channels. We've already made up our mind to switch.

Well, they are still having this problem after a full week as I had to record the Voice in order to record The Blacklist as the timeslot for the Blacklist was actually News. Who do you contact to get them to request they sync the Guide times listed with the actual programming?

Directv is not available here. Only Directv LA (Latin America) Talk about missing channels. People switch from them to Dish daily.
Sorry to hear about the missing Phillipine channels. What does Dish say when you ask about them? Can you get those channels online?

My plan is to use a receiver from a stateside account. I have large dishes and should be able to get a good signal. I have an DTV LNB on order and I'll test for signal strength as soon as I get it.
Dish tech support is befuddled and has been for a year now, and with 3 service calls and no results, I have no hope.
I don't watch TV on my computer so getting the channels on line does me no good.

Even if you can get signal,...which I don't think you will...All the networks will be missing due to Spotbeams.

Last night I figured out that if you record the show before the actual show you will capture it on the DVR.

I called their 800 number and the guy answering the phone is in Los Angeles.....He said he would make a note and pass it on.
