April 23rd...that's the date the announcement will be made. I'm told 600 - 800 jobs initially. Maybe I'm misinformed but I'm not the only one who has heard this information. Many in the business community are well aware as are most politicians. Fingers crossed!!!

I cant even imagine that if Blowhard Chucky knew this for a fact (although she's never let facts get in the way of her bloviating before) she would miss the opportunity to put one of her "Keeping in touch with my people" PSA's in the paper and then take credit for negotiating the terms and conditions of the sale.

Chucky voted for the 4th Agreement with Hovensa. If you like the agreement or the persons entities that signed it, you should refrain from calling her names. At least this time she would be able to claim responsibility and not be lying.

Hopefully the rumored announcement will be made this week as has been suggested by some here and many in the community.

1. Negotiations are done by governors under VI law, not senators. Senators can only ratify with an up or down vote without modifications.
2. Chucky did vote for the final presentation.
3. The presentation was weaker yes, or better said, in better interest of thepeople of the VI and more likely to produce a sale. Problem, it was in the form of a letter of explanation and not an actual amendment. So she technically voted yes to the original contract that deJongh signed.

I just checked with Scot trade... There are no news regarding Hovensa...The latest with regards to Hess Oil is the sale of their interests in Thailand (2 assets)... Money acquired of said sales are to be used on its continued repurchasing of shares...

Sooo.... almost time to put this one to bed...
