If you will left click on Del. Christensen's photo, or right click and Save Target, you will hear and see in a 6-minute clip her excellent 2008 speech in behalf of House Concurrent Resolution 2, which she introduced,

“Expressing the sense of the Congress that children in the United States should understand and appreciate the contributions of individuals from the territories of the United States and the contributions of such individuals in United States history.”

The House passed the resolution by voice vote.

I just wanted to recommend the clip to anyone who has an interest in the contribution Islanders have made to the US and to the world.
