We can select our delegates to the convention, but we cannot cast a ballot for those selected to run. We do not consider that as having the same rights as a US citizen that live in the 50 states.

The VI delegates in the national conventions (both republican and democratic) do cast ballots for the party candidate. That is, VI delegates have the same voting power as the stateside delegates. This process results in a party nominee. I am just debunking the idea postulated in this thread which may seem like the VI residents are not allowed to participate in the primary presidential elections. If the delegates votes are split close enough, VI delegates may indeed decide the nominee for the general elections.
I am not debating about whether VI residents can participate in the *general* presidential elections.
I think Trump told the truth about a lot of things including Rosie O'Donnell.
A. The president and vice-president are selected by the Electors, who are appointed by the States. If someone wants to change that, they will have to amend the Constitution.
B. Trump is play-acting in order to get media coverage. And it is working. In a world full of Kardashians and "reality" TV, he is getting people talking.
IMHO, of course....
If Trump runs as 3rd party candidate could you imagine a President Bernie Sanders?
As Bill Maher commented, this second debate can only be described as the second wave of "Tsunami Stupid".
Well since we have "Sanders lite" now I can formulate a pretty good idea...

Just came across this web site by accident Be Heard, Represent VI: Help Make the Case for the #RightToVote
I'm a republican and was quite disappointed with the debate. I will not even consider ay candidate that is stumping with the "Repeal Obama care" crap, that statement is so old news it's not even funny. I'm not a Hilary Clinton fan by any means, but she proposes a great plan for student loans that she has come up with, but as a typical democrat, who is going to pay the tab for it.
These are the kinds of issues that the republicans need to be addressing rather than Donald Trump being the main issue and abortion come on you've got to be kidding me.
