Been out on the East End for about an hour.

We're on feeder 3 and were out for about 2 1/2 hours today. We're out at work all day, so I didn't notice outages during the week. We don't bother calling for area-wide outages, WAPA knows it off and it'll be back when it is.

Is very funny to me in town the never loose any power i think wapa on purpose plays power outages outside tourist zones and punish locals in my end i have not notice no power outage in peterborg for a while but my 40w generator is smooth like a wizzle and maybe i have not notice??????????????

I thought possibly this 3 hr outage was part of the new plan to conserve?????
My other thought was Hovensa cut WAPA off & the whole island had gone out............. 😮

LOL, reading this board, heard a boom outside and lost power for the second time up on Mt. Welcome just East of C'stead. Don't see no lights down to town either. Thinking I may be without for a while, the outage may have blown a transformer or something in the 'hood.
Lost power this am too at around 10am...gotta go, battery backup is dying 🙂

Power keeps going off and on here in cotton valley. It is getting frustrating.

Same problem. Just as I get my generator stabilized the power comes back.

Just because something (WAPA) is expencive, doesn`t mean it`s good.
We pay 3=4X more than most states that NEVER have a blackout.
In my business, I have to be better than the service in the states, cheaper though my expences are MUCH higher!
It sure is hard making a living here!
But, Island living does have it`s positives, besides the obvious, it`s easy dealing with most locals on a professional level.
Don Dam WAPA out again, I can`t belive it!!!

Roki: Did you see that two people in PR had to sue to have the November ballot in English as well as Spanish? And the elections chief said it was too late to change it? Wuzzup with that?
