Hello all. We are moving to STT in December and have a 14 month old. She walks but get's a little wild so I like to keep her in the stroller for long outings. Which brings me to my question, how's the terrain there? Does anyone have any particular stroller they think is better for the area. We have a Combi Savonna now and since we live in the mountains it's just not cutting it. We were thinking of switching to the Peg Perego P3. Many thanks!!

Hello Ed and Shannon,

In all honesty, the cheapest work the best. I am speaking only from experience on STT. I had a huge stroller and quickly reduced down to an umbrella stroller. As far as outings go, if you take it to the beach than it quickly deteriorates - sand, mold, and mildew just ruin them. As far as walks go, there are very few roads that you can safely walk (no sidewalks), however the sidewalk by the airport works well for strollers as does Tutu mall. I usually don't spend enough time in one store to go thru the trouble of getting out a stroller so my toddler either gets carried, rides in a cart, or walks holding our hand. The stores you spend the most time in - K-mart, Home Depot (I don't even own a home, but am in there all the time!), grocery stores, Cost-U-Less, or Price Mart all have carts so you don't need a stroller. So there is my long answer for what probably should have been a quick answer. Hope it helps. 🙂

Teresa,

Hi there. Thank you soooo much for the honest answer. It may seem like a little thing but with a little one these small answers mean alot. One less thing for us to worry about. Many thanks. Shannan
