I know Craig's List is available on USVI... I'm wondering how useful/successful it is there. Anyone have experience?
Here, in northern Virginia (suburbs) I'm amazed at how well it works. I started using it about 2 years ago to clear out the basement. Most things that I advertise go within 3 days. I think only 3 out of 15 items haven't sold. Many times, what I'm trying to get rid of, others find really useful (one family was just moving in to our neighborhood, and after their first night in their new house decided that they really did want a microwave oven after all... mine was $20 and was just a block away; another lady had just moved here after divorce and needed another bed for her mother who was going to be helping her... I had a great bed for a great price, and ended up delivering it to her house and drew up instructions on how to put it together... plus she has my email address and phone#).

i check craigslist a lot - it's caribbean.craigslist.com
i found my current rental house there, plus i have posted a few items and found a few for sale items. there are a lot of people that post rentals and houses for sale, plus jobs. good site to use! plus the personals are fun! since the island is so small...it makes you think "who is THIS person?" lol.

I wondered how to get it. I looked on C.L. and didn't see a link to the USVI.
I use C.L. all the time in AZ both to buy and sell.

I've been "begging" CL to open a direct connection to STX, but will gladly settle for USVI. I think they have to obtain a minimum of requests before they will open a direct link...gosh I wish we had it! So, any other CL-ers...put in your request to the org! Maybe we will get it sooner than later...
