I came for a short stay of 3 months, but the island's magic may not let me go. I have a car in San Diego that I would like to bring here if I do stay. Can anyone tell me how to get details on the cost of shipping it here?

Crowly shipping company, it is in the container port by hovensa. when you ship a car here it will cost to ship it, plus if it is not made in america you will also have to pay customs fee, and then road tax to get the car registered. I just got a quote to get my car shipped off island, they only ship to florida and texas, and to florida they charge $1300 for the boat ride. I am thinking it will cost about the same for the boat ride from Florida to St. Croix.

We just shipped out 04 Toyota 4 runner from Reno NV and it was $5200 b/c it was made in Japan. That covered everything, road tax, duty, registration, etc. we used Viking.
