I am moving down at the end of March and was hoping someone could possibly steer me in the right direction. For the past four years I have been an assistant project manager with a firm in Atlanta, Ga. I also have an engineering degree from Georgia Tech University. I am looking to find similiar employment with a residential or commercial contracting company when I move to the islands. I haven't been able to come up with anything on my own, and was hoping someone down there knows a contact, company, etc. to get me started.

Hello Jeff,
How about looking in the USVI Yellow Pages http://www.viphonebook.com for Construction and similar fields and contacting the various companies. Ask questions,fax your resume. Plan a visit to the islands and try to line up interviews with those places you contacted.
