Condo living in St. Croix???

Greetings from Alaska,
Still pondering a move there (including a PMV). I would also rent for a year to make sure everything worked out. However, I am a low cost liver, and being a Pilot in the Caribbean won't get me rich (don't care anyways!) What I am saying, is that a big nice house won't be in my future. Either a small house, or a condo would be more in my fiscal window. My question is have any of you ever lived in any of the larger (or smaller) condo complexes in St. Croix? How was it? Quiet? Safe? Doable? Thanks for your time!

Blue Skies,
AKpilot

We are at coakley bay.....decent, 1800 for a three bedroom 2 bath. includes internet, and water....which is huge. also has a generator. very very safe. anyone we have asked says they have never had problems here

We split our time between AZ and STX. When on STX we live at ST C. Don't know what the going rates are but I think about $1200 to $1500 a month. Not as nice as Coakley but closer to C-sted and the beaches on the North Shore.
No problems other than close to neighbors, I have never lived in a condo complex before and would rather have a house but that is not feasible.
Both places sometimes have a parking problem depending on where you are in the complex.
