Community dinner?

I was sure I saw a advert/notice about a community dinner (out doors, perhaps at the fort?) in December, and I thought that would be great to do as both my husband and I will have moved there by then (he's been living on STX for a month or so, I follow in a week) - you know, take part in the community etc

Now I can't find anything about it and I suspect that I was seeing things (moving makes my brain hurt)

Do any of you know what I'm talking about? can you share a link?

Very crowded, so you'll get to meet a lot of people, even if it's just to apologize for stepping on their toes. But also, very well worth it to sample all the wonderful goodies available from restaurants and vendors you might not have heard about or already visited.

There was something at the fort three days ago. I heard music and there was white tents and I could smell food. Sorry not more help but I think whatever it was, has passed.

the event at the Fort last Saturday was the DineVI Reef Responsible Fish Fry and was an absolutely fantastic event... I believe it was originally scheduled for early November but was rescheduled to the 30th...they have a number of fantastic events (including the Christiansted FEAST event, Food Truck Fete, and Bush Chef Cookoff)! ...

Trixie_b, a monthly event that's a lot of fun is Sunset jazz in F'sted. 3rd Friday of every month. Good place to meet people, and they have food and drink booths.
