Collard greens on STX
Where can I buy them? Places other than Cost-U-Less, Pueblo, etc.
Thanks,

seaside market has them at times. there is a farmers market. down by the old pizza hut by the chicken shack, you can try also art farm.
Several booths had em at Ag Fair for 3 bucks a bunch and they looked pretty nice
Sejah Farm usually has them as well. Just bought two bunches last week. Far superior to the ones you get in the grocery stores--more tender and flavorful.

where is this located
On Caspar Holstein Road, just south off of Midland Road. If you're heading west from Northside Road, it's just before you hit Cruzan Gardens. Lovely people.

Thanks all for the info - I did try the La Reine Farmer's Market and was told I was too late: all sold out. But they had plenty of something else that looked like collards but leafier and not as thick. Anyone know what they call that?
... But Lordy, no three bucks a bunch collards for me unless it's sizeable. And Cost-U-Less? - might as well give up greens all together at their prices!
Quality foods has em at times..... Plaza usually isnt that bad pricewise , but just not what I am used to from living in the south yrs ago
Hi - How much are collard greens at Sejah Farms? sounds like a good source.
Thanks,
