I asked people who have lived here for years and no one will go to Chuck's campaign bash. The bands sound great but is this going to be safe?

I wonder why she doesn't hold it at the Great Pond Park she 'created'?

i think this one is more packed than the prior ones have been. went to seaside and it was absolutely bananas.

I am no Chucky fan, but can't stand to see lies and innuendo. She didn't create a Great Pond Park. The Great Pond is ALREADY government park land. Beal Aerospace wanted to build a rocket factory and the government illegally sold government park land to Beal. Chucky led a lawsuit that put pressure on Beal, and he ultimately gave up on the project, citing competition between them and NASA.
While she does deserve to be voted out, and has had a few embarassing scandals (Sunshine, degree purchasing, taxes, etc), you have to give her credit for that. Try to see things wholistically and not in black and white.

She created and got passed the bill allowing these types of events to be held with it's attendant loud noise/music until the wee hours of the morning.

"Created" as in a stretch of the truth. Chucky has a propensity for taking credit where none is due.

Just drove past a anegada ball park this morning, and was there ever a disgusting mess left behind!!! Glad us taxpayers get to pay for Chuckys wild fraudulent party!! Lawd knows she will not pay for the clean up!!

I meant Canegata ball park, and no I did not get pictures, I was late dropping kids at a function. I will be driving by shortly and will get pictures if the mess is still there

It'll be interesting to see if anything's in the papers about the crowd, loud music, problems, etc. from "her event". I bet it was a real mess (trash wise) afterwards!

With all of her talk about local jobs, why did she fly in talent from other islands? We have lots of talent here.

Many local people will not come out in large numbers to see local entertainers perform. Bring in some bands from off-island, and you're sure to get a crowd, even though the off-island musicians are not of the caliber of, say, Steve Katz. People want to see a spectacle, and given the willingness of performers like Destra to get on stage wearing next to nothing while shaking everything, a spectacle is guaranteed.
