They ordered the ballots for absentee and military voters on Friday with her name on it.

What changed with District Court? If denied, they'll appeal. Sigh.

Appeal? To the Third Circuit Court in Philadelphia? Go ahead. Make my day.
Wilma Lewis had no authority in the first place to give a contradictory order to the Supervisor of Slections. If she had had jurisdiction over the local Supreme Court, she should have ordered that court to reverse their decision. Idiot. She wasz not the court of competent jurisdiction over local ballot petitions. This is judicial misconduct.

Those ballots can be reprinted this weekend, the court should have required a bond be placed to compensate the elections system should her TRO eventually be denied,

As the saga continues I'm beginning to think that the Governor's pardon was a rather smart political move.

Old tart, the only thing the governor did was reveal his corrupt allegiance so that the last of his defenders have no choice but to admit him to be the thieving politician that I have always held him out to be. Smart? No. Bert Bryan backed him into showing his cards.

Read it and weep.

Not necessarily. Your opinion. It's interesting watching it play out.

My father still thinks white shoes are in style, Old Tart. You hold on to your opinion that deJongh is not corrupt. You are on Chucky's side.

I didn't think OT was on Chuckys side. I think what she meant by "smart" is that despite tha fact that this lady is clearly a criminal, she always gets voted back in. By deJongh rallying for her, then he too would be in a better light by the same majority thats voting for her. Smart in that aspect but anyone with half a brain can see that this is all completely insane and the fact that there so much back and fourth on such a clear cut case is what is wrong with the USVI. Sad really.

Chucky is not the first criminal to run for a major political office. Though we've been misled to believe they work for us and should be held in high regard, it's getting harder and harder to believe any of them aren't somewhat dirty.

Quick Google search returned this result.

At least the VI tries to screen for some sort of "morality" , but it was imposed upon us in Organic Act.

You should try and resist the urge to make assumptions as you surely know what's said about them.
