We are changing our service from Centennial. So: Sprint or Cingular???

Thank you!

I have only had Cingular. It works pretty good on STX. No long distance charges to the mainland. It doesn't work here in AZ as well as my Verizon, but Verizon didn't work in STX so I switched.

I'm pleased with Cingular. They've broadened their coverage and towers so there aren't very many dead spots. I only use in on STT and STJ, though. Haven't tried it on STX. Love the fact that there is no long distance for calling the states.

Definitely Cingular. Sprint does not work from Bakkeroe to Nadir which is a large area on the south side of the island.

EE:
I second glynnswife, Sprint's area is limited. I know, I have them. They drop out between Country and Red Hook. In RH, I get service, but that's about it in that part of the island.

Changing Centennial? Por que? I get good reception with Cingular in Coral Bay where no other signal exists. And it works well when I take a trip back to the states, as well. Cingular, thumbs down.

We use Cingular and get good reception everywhere on STX except the Cane Bay/Carambola area, which seems to be a dead zone. I never see anybody on a cell.

My husband and I use Cingular. He's on STX and I'm still in Ohio. It works out well.

Thanks you everyone. We did get Cingular. We needed something with a roaming capacity as one segment of our network is going to be in the States this summer. I can see that programming the darn thing is going to be a steep learning curve!

I bought a Treo 650 and finally exceed my tech abilities, LOL. First time in my life I"ve felt OLD. I knew it was a mistake when the instruction book has lessons: day one, day two... week one, week two, month one... etc. Jeez! I just wanted a phone and PDA all in one. Didn't realize I had to go to school to use my phone!

Should have bought the RAZR. A nice pink one.
