Cbc oil
Is this legal and if so where can I buy this on stx
If you mean CBD oil, it's legal as no thc is in it. You can find it at the Vape shop in the Barron Spot Mall just off the little courtyard.
Thank you. Auto correct changed it for me. Glad it's legal and can be bought here.
Whether it's legal actually depends on whether the CBD oil was derived from a marijuana plant or from a hemp plant. This explains it a bit: https://herb.co/marijuana/news/is-cbd-oil-legal-the-current-legal-status-of-cbd
Not enough research has been done to compare the results of the two variants for effectiveness on various medical conditions. Anecdotal evidence abounds, however.
CBD oil IS NOT legal here. It is a extract amd prohibited. In addition the " CBD oil" that is sold here is modern equilivent of the old west snake oils.
so its not true CBD oil that is sold here?

No its sold here but that doesn't mean it is legal.....
Vaporizers, waterpipes, grinders are all sold all over the place but by the letter of the VI law they are considered to be paraphernalia and possession or selling of said items are against the law
Marijuana and Hemp are from the same plant genius which could be either Cannabis Sativa or Cannabis Indica. The difference between the hemp and marijuana is that hemp is so low in the Cannabinoid THC ( <0.3%) that it doesn't really produce the psychoactive effect that Marijuana does. CBD is another Cannabinoid known as Cannabidoil. There are about 250 known Cannabinoids in cannabis and more being found all the time.
There is a ongoing debate about the benefits of strict CBD only oil. CBD and THC are very different in their medicinal benefits. for instance look at below for what each is good at :
Medical uses of CBD :
Anti-seizure
Anti-inflammatory
Analgesic
Anti-tumor effects
Anti-psychotic
Inflammatory bowel disease
Depression
Medical uses of THC :
Analgesic
Anti-nauseant
Appetite stimulant
Reduces glaucoma symptoms
Sleep aid
Anti-anxiety Muscular spasticity
Herein lies the problem..... The VI code is poorly worded when it comes to a lot of things. The letter of the law states that extracts such as oil are against the VI code hince illegal, it doesn't recognize or care about the source of the oil. If it came from the plant be it hemp or marijuana it's not allowed. The hemp law that " passed " only allows for UVI to do research and to date have not heard anything going forward with that.
Sadly with the current federal administration and their attitude to reverse the Obama era policies changing of the laws down here is not likely to happen anytime soon. I have been involved in efforts down here and have testified before the senate numerous times and we still can't even get the Medical bill out of committee because of the views of certain senators.
All of that being said........ The "CBD oils" that are being sold here ( that I have seen) are over priced junk. There is no real quality control or guarantee of what you are buying. In states such as Colorado or Washington the substances have to be tested for levels at a state lab before they are allowed to be sold. They are as I said before the modern day versions of the old west quack medicines.
So, does this mean it can't be bought online and sent here ? I've heard cbd also has great benefits.
Does cbd also help with appetite? My dad lives I Virginia and due to his medical condition and drugs he is on has lost a lot of weight. I'm trying to think of things that will help him.
I've also heard that cnt oil is good for skin cancer
