Caribbean Life on TV Jan 1st
Caribbean Life, a new show for HGTV will air tomorrow (JAN1) at 1;00PM and 1:30 PM AZ time look for it at 4;00PM STX time.
The first one is about a couple in a STX condo who want to buy a house. The second one is about a couple who want to buy a house.
Look for it.
Thanks for the heads up, Terry. My DVR is set!
Incidentally, there's an episode that follows at 4:30 STX time that's also about STX.
Bernie
Yes, there are two showing.
That's awesome!! I watch Hawaii life and IMHO VI>HI!!
We were going to be on house hunters but when we switched from STX to STT they didn't want to do another one on STT.

So switch to STX.......:D
I ran into Chris Hanley at Food Fair.
He is hoping it turns out well and STX looks good.

Didn't House Hunters just do one episode on Stt, if my memory serves me correctly?
They did more than one episode, both on Stj and Stx.
There have been at least four on STX.
With Mike at Ziggy's
With the dupe that worked for the realator - bid verry very low
The condo that was purchased at Gentle Winds
The people who ended up buying a lot and building in Judith's Fancy
I only recall 1 on STT, the lady who bought a "starter house" and rented out the bottom apartment to a UVI student. Several on STX and STJ.
That's the only one I remember about Stt.
Edit: The second episode about Stt is the woman living on her catamaran looking to buy a condo.
House Hunters International episode search, including all HGTV shows also.
6 Stx
6 Stj
2 Stt

(Correct me if my list is wrong.)
Oh I remember the boat lady one now! Something about STT must of rubbed the producers the wrong way, strange they'd only do 2 and then no more but still film on STJ.
Cause people on stt are hateful and people on stx for the most part are nice, friendly and accepting. It's one of the main reasons we moved. Who wants to work with the attitude and put up with all the crap?
Cause people on stt are hateful and people on stx for the most part are nice, friendly and accepting.
That is a ridiculous statement - especially on a supposedly helpful relocation forum.
so i hope i remember about hgtv today
According to http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/programdaily/0,1000237,HGTV_32663__EST,00.html and the Dish Network program guide:
- Caribbean Life is only showing at 4pm and 4:30pm AST today (not at 1pm)
- Only the Caribbean Life episodes pertain to STX
That's the only one I remember about Stt.
Edit: The second episode about Stt is the woman living on her catamaran looking to buy a condo.
Right, the lady and her son traveled from the UK and ended up getting a condo at the WaterGate Condo right next to Bolongo Bay
There was another one on St Thomas with three nice north side houses...
East Ender, are you thinking about this episode?

Bob, when I started this thread I said AZ time was 1:00 PM. That would be 4:00 pm STX time, always three hour difference. AZ does not change with daylight saving either.

Ah! Now I get it.
Momcation Getaway to St. Thomas
Episode HHOV-107H
Kizmat and James Tention from Marietta, Georgia along with their two children Steven and Anaya are in for a big surprise when House Hunters on Vacation surprises them with a dream vacation to the gorgeous Caribbean Island of St. Thomas. While James is busy with his full-time job as a technical engineer, Kizmat is pulling double duty as a full-time mom and going back to school at night for her college degree in psychology. Their nineteen year old son Steve is a college freshman so with two tuitions to pay for, there is little money to take a well-deserved family vacation until now. HGTV is picking up the tab to send the Tentions to tour three luxurious homes in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The one they pick will be theirs for a week to enjoy. After seeing the three luxury homes the Tentions have a tough decision to make. Will they vacation in the Cliff House with the amazing outdoor gourmet kitchen? The Colorful Villa with the infinity pool? Or the Asian Inspired Retreat that comes with a private chef?

Teri McKenna Has Lived and Worked on her Boat in St. Thomas for a Year, and She's Ready Now to Try Life on Solid Ground
Episode HHINT-1404H
When Teri McKenna was faced with an empty nest back home in Southern California, she decided it was time to live out one of her lifelong dreams. She moved to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, bought a Catamaran, and launched a charter boat business. The lifestyle change meant Terri would be working and living aboard the boat. Now, one year later, Terri still loves her boat, but she's starting to miss the conveniences of living on solid ground. She's looking for a condo on the island where she can live, and host her two grown sons when they come to visit. Local real estate agent Karen Korsgren shows Teri and her son Matt three properties close to her budget of $300,000. The first is listed for $315,000, and has two bedrooms and two baths and a great waterfront location. The second property has water views, but only one bedroom and one bath. But it's listed for the lower price of $240,000. The third condo is also just one bedroom and one bath. It's listed for just $205,000, but it does not have a water view at all. Which condo will give Teri the comfortable Island lifestyle she's looking for? Find out, when House Hunters International sails to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Episode HHINT-3A02H
Moneca Pinkett has lived on St. Thomas for five years and she's ready to make the Virgin Islands her permanent home. Since she runs her own internet business, she is looking for a home where she can relax and work. Outdoor space and an ocean view are high on her wish-list, as well as space for a home office. Living in the tropics can be expensive, so Moneca is also hoping to find a place with a separate unit that she can rent out that works within her budget of $450,000.
