Carambola- It's official

Being a golfer at The Buccaneer, I don't think most of you on this board realize the Buccaneer Hotel packages also offer tennis, golf, etc. at discounted rates for hotel guests. Unless Carambola Golf managment is coordinating something with Carambola Hotel or vice versa, then Buccaneer Hotel will retain their advantage when trying to attract tourists who like to play golf & tennis. Unless something has changed, Carambola Hotel & Carambola Golf were not coordinating nor promoting golf/tennis packages for hotel guests. Carambola Hotel guests used to have to pay top dollar to play Carambola Golf Course. For example -right now green fees (golf) and cart fees for 1 tourist at Carambola Golf is around $119 (Their "cruise ship passenger special" - not so special in my opinion).
At Buccaneer Golf Course a hotel guest (tourist) can play 18 holes w/cart for $70. It would make good business sense for the Carambola Hotel to negotiate with Carambola Golf to offer discounted rates for hotel guests.

Apologize -- Have a correction on Carambola Golf (Guest fees) -- Cruise ship special of $119 includes a set of rental clubs. A guest or tourist that has their own clubs, the price per person for 18 holes & cart is $99. Difference is still $20 more than Buccaneer Hotel guest would pay.
