Car service/maintenance recommendations
Can anyone recommend a good place to get some regular car maintenance/service (e.g., oil change, brakes checked) done for my Wrangler? The place I used to use, over at Five Corners (can't remember the name--owned by an Ohio State Buckeye's fan) appears to be out of business. Or am I mistaken?

I have used both Jeff & Terry's on Northside Rd and Marvelous Auto Repair on Midland Rd. Both are honest. Jeff & Terry's is a little cheaper, but Marvelous Auto Repair can do more technical things.
The name is Target Tire, owned by Dennis. Is it out of business?
You could try Mike at MPH, located at 5 corners next to Kokomos.
Not sure about Target. When I drove by the other day, it looked empty. But admittedly, it was a quick look, so maybe they were just shut down for the holidays. Thanks for the other suggestions; I'll check them out!

For STT, PM or e-mail me, as I come to the vehicle for maint. and repairs...
Highly recommend MLZ Auto Repair (near the shooting range)
Robert is the owner. My husband used to work there when we lived on STX. High Quality, Honest, Knows how to run a repair shop!!!
If you need a new battery on STX, H&H is the best.
Could anyone help with contact information for the places suggested on STX? I can't find telephone numbers for any of these guys anywhere on the Web.

Any insight on Bengoa's? They're the closest to me, so if they're as good as the others, I might end up there.

Bengoa took 2 months to get my cylinder head changed...even after I ordered it myself. Nice people, though.
Target tire is definitely still in business. I just had my car worked on there and they did a fine job.
Bengoa's is great for auto AC

So, you'd recommend them for oil change and other mechanical work? I only used them once to get a tire patched.

Another case where Jeff and Terry's is better than the Jeep dealership. I took my 2008 Patriot to the Jeep dealership three weeks ago. They diagnosed front-end/suspension issues and said they had to order parts. They also put in writing that the car was not safe to drive. So with my sister-in-law's wedding coming up and no second car, I rented a car from Centerline. Fast forward three weeks (with no progress reports) and the parts finally came in. The Jeep dealership said they could start work in another three weeks. No way to do it sooner, no help on the rental car. That would be six weeks of rental car. Trying as nicely as I could, I finally got them to forward me to the manager. Voice mail. Really frustrated, I called Jeff and Terry's (which I should have done in the first place.) Jeff listened to the diagnosis and the parts list and said, "Get the parts and bring them in. I'll start working on your car today." I couldn't be less satisfied with Jeep and more satisfied with Jeff. I was planning to buy another car soon and now I know where not to look.
