Gallows Bay Hardware, call and ask for John the locksmith. They have a sign that says they make code keys .

And enjoy your time with john. He's such a warm and friendly guy....and very customer focused. Caribbean Locksmith might do those too but not sure. (340) 201-2774

Years ago, John was called to fix a lock at a house we were caretaking. The lock was unusual and I couldn't figure out why it was malfunctioning. It also wasn't a lock that was easily replaced. While he was working on it I was watching. He turned to me and said "I didn't go to locksmith school to teach you! Stop watching me work!!" Never hired him again! A few weeks ago I had a few keys made. He was a complete A-hole!!!! Some things never change...

I've always had a good experience with John at Gallows Bay Hardware. Your mileage may vary, obviously!

I would guess spee1dy is talking about john but I'm sure they'll confirm. Caribbean Lock is actually across side street from scotia bank, kind of across from Wapa in sunny isle.

Side note: maybe we should all gather at gallows bay to complain to owner about john. No one should be allowed to treat people like he does in a service business and keep his job. Unless the boss already knows and doesn't care.

I've only had good treatment from John. Never had any issues with him.

I've used both.

John (Bushlow I think - Gallows Bay) has cut special keys for me; personal job. He rubbed me the wrong way and was rude to me, but I'm not marrying him. He cut keys for me. No big deal.

John (Caribbean Lock- next to Scotia) did a larger, sensitive professional job for me. He was very nice, very professional, and reasonable. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

None of us are marrying him, but that doesn't mean it's ok for him to be a dink.

Sure thing! I recommend reaching out to "Island Lock & Key Services" on STX. They specialize in automotive locksmith services and should be able to help you cut and program a key for your Lexus. Additionally, you could also inquire with the local Toyota dealer, as they might have the expertise and equipment to assist you with key programming. Best of luck, and I hope you get your key issue resolved quickly!
