Anyone know? I will be flying in with my cat next trip; need to know if I will have to rent a car just for getting him to the ferry dock. Thanks!

If you rent a car you will also have to return it to the airport after you drop the pet off and then take a taxi back to RH. Generally, when you travel with a pet you are required to rent the entire taxi, which isn't cheap but costs less -- and takes less time -- than the alternative.

Last I hear in stt to get a taxi to accept a dog you had to pay $70 to $120, IF they will take it at all. Maybe it will be better with a cat, but be prepaid to rent a car, maybe make a just in case reservation.

We brought our dog into STT airport years ago and couldn't get a taxi to take us to Crown Bay. The airport manager took us in his pick-up truck. Very nice fellow.
