CAN WE TALK ABOUT IT AND STILL BE FRIENDS?
I have been reading this board over 2 years and I really am concerned about our discussions around public school education in the USVI and Housing in various communities? Can we have such discussions and still do the following:?
Can we be more sensitive or should I say more aware about the ethnicities, cultures, economic positions, spiritual purposes/ career paths, and our over all life experiences, when we respond?
For the most part we do not know each other, and we can not see each other. We may or may not understand how we are inspired and what type of living, education, and cultures we are willing to live with our children and families. Just like some may not be aware of the what some members of the board may have access to that would allow them to live and be educated under what might be or in most cases be considered better conditions.
Can we do this and still give our opinions coupled with valuable information that might benefit ourselves and others. Or am I just being idealistic. I would like to say that I understand that our personall opinions stem from the same experiences that I have listed above.
In the past I have attempted to respond to TEACHERS who were considering working in the USVI schools or or relocators who may wish or need to live in housing that might be less expensive than other places, and for some perhaps what I have shared has been useful.
My question as to whether or not we can communicate with each other in away that might consider the above might be limiting to some but I just thought I would ask the question> It is just something to think about. Either way, I think we all will take what we need from the board in order to adjust.

I going to go out on a limb and suggest probably not!!!
I know I can, I try to consider the source first before I would reply to something. Hopefully, most people on this board will consider everything that is posted. But to make a good decision for yourself and/or your family we need lots of feedback. I will be relocating in 2 weeks to STT. I am sure there will be things to adapt to, there always is with any situation. Everyone has been very helpful and for the most part kind and friendly. Glad you posted.
