hi, i've asked this before, but now that i'm going to search for an apt down there next month, i need to ask again: if you have pets, how difficult is it to find an apt? i don't have a dog but i have 3 cats. will i be doomed to disappointment? thanks everybody!

It all depends on the owner. As other folks have pointed out on this board, a lot of apartment rentals are in people's homes (so to speak)- built in with the rest of the home. So it depends on your owner/landlord. When we first moved here and were renting, we had a cat, no problem. But keep in mind that you will want to find out if the owner or other tenants have animals, too.
We're going to have a studio available in June, but aren't allowing any pets, because we already have dogs on the property....dogs who don't like cats!
Good luck with your search- I've heard it's easier to find a place with cats than with dogs- but then again, it all depends on the owner/landlord!
