Camping in the USVI
Any of you do any hiking and camping on the islands? Any good camping spots? We love camping in Florida during the "winter" months. Feeling compelled to put quotes around winter as we are not even having the little one we usually get this year. Guess I could just Google camping in the USVI. I am becoming too dependent on the advice and opinions of you posters 😉
National Park on STJ has campgrounds. Don't think I'd try camping anywhere else unless you count tent city on the beach on the weekends.
Cinnamon Bay Campground on St. John.
Cinnamon and Concordia on STJ, campsite on Water Island, Magens Bay for max 3 nights on STT.
easter week camping on pretty much all beaches on stx
We were lucky enough to camp on Hans Lollik. If you don't have a boat or friend with a boat it's a long swim though.
I know a family that camps on top of goat hill. Also....Cramers Park/ Beach but dont know if I would do that un less with a large group or during Easter week.
Easter week.....beaches are covered with campers, a local tradition....I did it one year, it was a blast!
Easter week camping sounds like so much fun!

about Easter week camping. I'll skip the electronics but it looks like a blast!
Well if you go make sure you bring your own mozzy nets, 100% deet spray and every citronella candle you can get your hands on. We thought it'd be fun too. Until we woke up in a "screened tent" with a cloud of mosquitos full of our blood. How we didn't get Chik is beyond me. This was at Cinnamon. Also if you don't like bugs I would HIGHLY suggest against it... and by bugs I mean spiders.... lots and lots of spiders.
Also keep in mind all of the questions you've asked lately can be found by using the search feature. 🙂
