I have a small stationery/invitations shop stateside...weddings, birth announcements, party announcements, etc. I was selling the business but it fell through at the last minute. Until this time, I have had a storefront, but this is a business easily done at home.
My question is if there is a market for this type enterprise on island, or is it too laid back for that? I don't know whether to throw a lock on the door and leave, stay through Christmas (which is EXCELLENT business-wise), or just try a little independent thing when I get there....
Party-goers, moms-to-be, brides - I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Becky - I want you to get here. But I know personally - 4 people who own shops that offer printing of various types of things here on stx. I don't want to say it wouldn't be needed - but those are just the ones I personally have met since June.
Hurry up kiddo - times a wasting!!!! I say - shut er down and do it from home (here)!

Thanks, Linda....I am really ready to get there! It was a passing thought I had...it has passed. As soon as this house is under control, I am SO outta here!
