Ezra Thomas was spotted recently at Point Udall. He is a notorious thief. Arrested over twenty times for house breaking and or burglary but never convicted. The last time we caught him in our neighborhood he assaulted two 80 year old gentlemen with a crowbar he happened to have with him.

Ezra convinced the jury that these two gentlemen had kidnapped him from the Divi parking lot and dragged him back to our neighborhood and then assaulted him.

Ezra was the punk who stole our car stereo yrs ago!!!
We were told by the police they know who he is & charges are yet to stick when we filed our report.............That man should become chum!!! Any one have a boat???

The East End is having a rash of B & E's!!! Like Tam suggests, we should all watch the others back.

I was robbed 4 times within two months. The police also suspect a guy who has been in and out of jail for theft. He is from a well known local family. The police did nothing, when you go talk to them the min. they hear the guy's name, you can see them change their attitude.
He probably has all our stuff at his house, I truly believe they have not been up there to check.

We have a pretty good neighborhood watch over here. I will keep my eyes open for sure. God bless anyone who breaks into my house. They would trip and injure themselves before they got to anything then the dogs would eat them. Poor guy working on my house sat on a ladder for quite awhile because I didn't realize he was out there and I let the dogs out.

That's what I need a GREAT BIG Dog,

Just finshed fencing the property, putting in sec. system, more lighting, replaced doors with louvers for solid doors.

They actually unscrewed the bulbs of the motion detector lights. We installed more lights higher up! Also now have camera's

Live in the cotton valley area also. had some things stolen out of the garage a few months ba ck. We think it had to be a worker (s) we had building. Someone knew our dogs and went in garage anyway. There is so much construction going on out east you dont know who to trust. The firemen at the cotton valley firestation use to be able to keep an eye out but now so much coming and going they have not clue who belongs anymore. Maybe its time for another community meeting at the firestation. Last time we had one and the word got out that we were not going to tolerate it anymore it B and E's seemed to have slowed down a bit. Do we all arm ourselves and take shifts patrolling the neighborhood????

I'd like to see the Police Chief on this forum, answering some of these crime questions, concerns.

I really wanted to go that meeting but I had house guests at the time. I think we are doing good by talking and getting the word out. Big dogs are always a good idea. Mine bark and go after everyone who is not family. They have to be told that someone is ok. We also trained our dogs not to take food from anyone.

Obviously, I don't want to be burglarized, but everything I own can be replaced.

God help the scum if they kill my dog to get to it!!!

My neighbors dog was poisoned before his robbery. It is so awful, he was a great dog.

I don't have dogs but the dogs that live on the other side of me, were barking towards the brush before I was robbed also.

There is a STX Crime Watch site, you need to become a member to view it, but its a good way to see where the robberies are happening.

Dixie Chick I don't live on the East End,

OMG, I had not even fathomed that they would kill a beloved pooch. How devastating that would be. Ugh...

Some areas are light night and day...some are constantly targeted and then like us...we hardly ever lock our doors.
