I was just wondering how long does it take to get to St. Thomas from Miami by boat? I saw somewhere on the net but now I can't find it. I'm gunna be moving down there in about 7 months and want to bring my boat from Miami and was just wondering how many days would it take? the boat is a 1990 38ft Egg Harbor sport fisherman.

I can't speak for your particular craft (or anything that doesn't have sails), but it's approximately 960 nautical miles from Miami to Charlotte Amalie... What does that Golden Egg cruise at?

Actually i'm not to shure it's my dad's boat so he would know better than me lol. It's actually at South Padre right now we were looking into having it trucked to Miami and then driving it down there and stop in the Bahamas and stuff we bought the boat down in the Keys and drove it from Flordia back to Texas. We may just end up selling the boat and get a bigger one in Miami like a 50ft Hattaras or something since trucking it is probably really expensive.
