I'm going to be moving my 32' Sportfisherman to STX, I've gotten several quotes, and the average is about 8k. Does this sound correct? Anybody have any experience moving their boat to STX?

No but you should mention where you're moving it from as that will dictate the price 😉

It's presently in NC, but I'm going to run it to wherever the shipping company wants. The quotes were from either Jacksonville or Miami.

i have not heard of anyone shipping their boat. i know a few people that just sold theirs before they moved

There are a couple of companies which move boats listed under the "Relocating" menu up top in the "moving household" section if you haven't yet tried those.

Thanks y'all for the info, I will check the links out...
I figured between fuel, lodging, port fees and time, it would be much easier just to have it transported...
